6% of gross billings for each placement the referred client makes through Smart Working, calculated across the first 12 months of that placement. There is no cap on the number of placements and there are no tiers. For example, 10 engineers at £50,000 of annual billings each earns you £30,000.
Payments are made quarterly in arrears, once billings have been received and reconciled.
For the first 12 months of each placement's billings, measured from the date that engineer goes live. There is no ongoing commission beyond the first 12 months of any individual placement.
No. Smart Working handles all discovery, proposal, sourcing, vetting, interviews, onboarding and payroll. You will not be involved in the sales process.
The referred company must be a net new client, not already in the Smart Working pipeline. The referral must be logged and confirmed by the Smart Working team before a discovery call takes place, and the deal must result in a signed contract and at least one active engineer placement.
Referrals from existing Smart Working employees working on a deal are not eligible.
Top 1% Engineers shortlisted in 5 days and onboarded in 10, at an all-in rate of £25/hr – around 50% less than hiring locally. Payroll, HR, compliance and continuous AI training are all included.
